Parties and acceptance

These Terms of Service are the agreement between İbrahim Özgül, which provides the Digital Solar Desk software as a service ("we"), and the business that signs up ("you"). By ticking the box at signup you accept these terms, the Billing and refund policy and the Data processing agreement. The version you accepted and the time of acceptance are stored with your account. How personal data is processed is explained separately in the Privacy notice.

For businesses only

The service is provided to businesses (merchants, tradespeople, professionals and companies) for their commercial or professional activity; it is not intended for consumers. The person signing up declares that they act on behalf of a business, are authorised to do so and are over 18. Rights that cannot be limited by law are not affected.

The service

Digital Solar Desk is web software for solar and battery installation companies to prepare quotes, check costs and track stock, projects and actual expenses. It does not include engineering design or approval, energy yield simulation, issuing official or electronic invoices, accounting, or collecting payments from your customers.

Calculations and your responsibility

The software calculates with the prices, costs, exchange rates, tax rates and quantities you enter and warns about costs that seem to be missing. Warnings are no guarantee that every gap is found and do not guarantee the final cost or profit of a job. You are responsible for the quotes, prices, taxes and commitments you send to your customers and for checking them before sending. The service is not legal, financial, tax or engineering advice.

Accounts, team and security

You are responsible for accurate account details and for keeping your password secret. The company owner manages team members, roles and permissions; the company is responsible for actions taken through its members' accounts. Tell us at once at info@digitalsolardesk.com if you notice unauthorised use.

Your data

The data you enter and the files you upload belong to you. You authorise us to process them only to provide and secure the service and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. You are the controller of your customers' and employees' personal data: informing them and having a legal basis for the processing is your obligation. The rules for processing that data on your behalf are in the Data processing agreement. You can export your data from the application at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload unlawful content or enter other people's personal data without a legal basis,
  • attempt unauthorised access to the service, other companies' data or the infrastructure, or run security or load tests without permission,
  • upload malware, send automated requests that overload the service, or scrape it,
  • reverse engineer or copy the software, or resell your access to third parties,
  • use share links or your account for spam or deceptive purposes.

Trial, subscription and payment

New companies get a 14-day free trial; no card is required and nothing is charged automatically when it ends. Paid plans are monthly or annual subscriptions. Plan limits apply per monthly usage period. Payments are collected by Paddle.com Market Ltd. as merchant of record; Paddle's buyer terms also apply to the purchase. Price, renewal, cancellation and refund rules are in the Billing and refund policy.

Intellectual property

All rights in the software, design, brand and documentation belong to İbrahim Özgül. During the subscription you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own business. We may use suggestions and feedback you send us to improve the product without obligation to you.

Availability and changes

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available but give no service-level (SLA) commitment. Maintenance, updates, failures at infrastructure providers or security reasons may cause interruptions. We may change features to improve the product. We give at least 30 days' notice of a change that removes a core feature of a paid plan.

Suspension

If a payment fails, the company workspace becomes read-only after a grace period; your data is not deleted and can be exported. We may suspend the service in part or in full for a serious breach of these terms, a security threat or a legal requirement, with prior notice and reasons except in emergencies.

Termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time on the Billing page and keep using it until the end of the paid period. When the agreement ends your workspace stays read-only and you can export your data. When you delete your company, data is permanently deleted at the end of the undo period described on the Account deletion page. We may terminate with notice if you seriously breach these terms.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for lost profit, lost business, lost data or indirect damage, and our total liability under this agreement is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage. Intent, gross negligence and liability that cannot be limited by law are excluded from this limitation (Turkish Code of Obligations Art. 115).

Force majeure

Obligations are suspended during events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, cyber attacks, general outages of energy or communication infrastructure, decisions of public authorities and failures at hosting providers.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We announce important changes by email or in the application at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept a change you can cancel before it takes effect; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept it.

Governing law and jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Isparta have jurisdiction. Our records and electronic records constitute conclusive evidence under Article 193 of the Code of Civil Procedure.

Notices and contact

We send notices to the email address of your account or within the application. You can send notices to us at info@digitalsolardesk.com or to Pirimehmet Mah. 1730 Sok. No:16/A, Merkez / Isparta, Türkiye.
